Tramp! All Hallows Eve
The moon was full, the queue was huge and manchesters youth eagerly awaited the doors to open club North for the infamous night -Tramp!.
From power rangers to zombie brides to an eclectic group of clockwork orange tributes, people dug deep in the fancy dress box to show people just how halloween hardcore they are.
Inside was an unusual difference to Tramp!'s usual electro, minimal mix mash up and they go by the name of Buraka Som Sistema. Their DJ/MC show was not necessarily what the faithful tramp! followers were expecting but with fancy dress, crazy
dancing and £2 for spirit and a mixer the night was pure, dirty madness.

No one does fancy dress quite as good as the London scene where you not only have to look unique, maintain all aspects of style and look positively horrifying all at the same time. Some costumes sent shivers up and down my spine as people heaved and ho their way through the eery, chilling warehouse. The hanging props of dolls with no eyes and endless of fake limps laying around added to the Halloween atmosphere.
Three separate rooms attracted different clientele- it was like the parting of the sea dividing the techno junkies from the minimal massive. Ripperton and Meat (Cocoon) were headlining the event playing their minimal sets. The 'We love' guys dropped tracks like mouth to mouth by Audion which sent the scene crazy mad and was enough to see many rave on till the early hours of the morning.
